At Tactile Medical, we specialize in developing at-home therapy devices to treat lymphedema, chronic venous insufficiency and respiratory illnesses.
The Senior IT Business Analyst will help support and improve critical business systems in a highly customized environment. This role requires someone who is comfortable learning how the business works today, asking good questions before jumping to solutions, and moving requests from intake to delivery. We are looking for someone who can support day-to-day business application needs, bring fresh ideas, and look for opportunities to simplify processes by using standard platform functionality where it makes sense. Strong written and verbal communication is essential, along with the ability to work well with business users, developers, and outside vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to ask the right questions, create clarity, document requirements thoroughly, and keep business users, development teams, and vendors aligned throughout delivery
- Engage with cross-functional business stakeholders (Finance, Operations, etc.) to elicit and clarify requirements through discussions, workshops, and process reviews. Develop deep understanding of current business processes and challenges, ensuring all perspectives are heard and documented.
- Approaches work with a clear Business Analysis plan, ensuring key information is captured, the right analysis and testing steps are completed, and solutions are validated against business intent before deployment, while adjusting the approach based on team capacity, timing, and available resources.
- Eager to learn new systems (e.g., ERP platforms, healthcare operations systems, and other business applications) and continuously improve proficiency; embraces change and quickly adapts to new challenges.
- Takes initiative and ownership of analysis deliverables, ensuring tasks move forward to completion.
- Support daily business system operations, including configuration, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Build and update saved searches, workflows, and basic scripts.
- Identify and help resolve data integrity issues.
- Perform data cleanup, imports, and validation.
- Learn the current system customizations, stay open-minded about why they exist, and bring new ideas that make better use of standard platform functionality where possible.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field – or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of business analysis (or related) experience, including translating business needs into technology solutions.
- Proven ability to collaborate with software developers, technical teams, and external partners to deliver solutions, serving as an effective bridge between business users and development teams and vendors.
- Strong communication skills – able to get clear on the business problem before solutioning, ask thoughtful questions, and communicate requirements, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to both business users and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills – able to evaluate options, think critically about business challenges, and recommend practical solutions.
- Proactive and action-oriented; comfortable working through ambiguity and moving work forward.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and communicate up effectively
Preferred:
- Direct experience with NetSuite as a business analyst, administrator, or developer is highly valued, especially when it helps bridge business requirements with technical implementation.
- Background in Durable Medical Equipment (DME), healthcare, medical device, finance, or supply chain/manufacturing industries – understanding of regulated environments (e.g. HIPAA compliance) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience working with enterprise software platforms (e.g. ERP systems such as NetSuite) in a business operations or financial context.
- Experience working with third-party vendors/implementation partners on software projects.
- Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar tools to manage requirements, user stories, backlog items, and delivery workflows.
- Experience with vendor management or working closely with external partners to coordinate delivery, clarify expectations, and maintain accountability is a bonus.

Below is the starting salary or hourly range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.
