Who We Are Looking For: Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

We are seeking a full-stack Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our PeopleForce team and help us build functional software and web-based applications.
Senior Ruby Developer responsibilities include creating back-end solutions, building efficient gems and integrating front-end components. We'd like to meet you if you have a strong level (10+ years) of Ruby on Rails. Our ideal candidate will contribute in all software development life cycle phases, from design to deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Write effective and scalable code in Ruby
• Build back-end components for web applications
• Test applications for performance, responsiveness and security
• Integrate data storage and data processing solutions
• Build, install and share gems and plugins
• Create automated test scripts
• Improve and maintain applications after deployment
• Coordinate with team members who work on different layers of infrastructure
• Back-end 70% of the work
• Front-end development — 30%

Requirements:

• 5 years you have work experience as a Ruby Developer
• Frontend: Webpack, JavaScript, HTML, CSS (as a plus Turbo, Alpine.js, Stimulus)
• Backend: Ruby, Ruby on Rails
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch
• Infra: Docker, Google Cloud, AWS
• In-depth understanding of object-oriented programming
• Hands-on experience writing command-line apps using Ruby libraries
• Expertise in Rails
• Understanding of agile software development
• Familiarity with automated testing platforms
• Problem-solving skills
• Team spirit
• English (Upper-Intermediate+).
