EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - CASE SELECTION AND INTELLIGENCE

JOB PURPOSE: Reporting to the Commissioner Corporate Strategy, Research and Governance; the purpose of this role is to develop strategic plans and initiatives to lead, direct and execute case selection and prioritization processes and methodologies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Sets priorities, defines criteria, and allocates resources to maximize impact. Identifies regulatory requirements, assessing risks, and implementing controls to ensure adherence. Fosters a culture of innovation, providing mentorship, and promoting professional growth. Leverages insights from data analysis to inform decision-making and enhance organisational effectiveness. Builds relationships, fostering communication, and aligning objectives to achieve shared goals. Stays abreast of regulatory changes, implementing policies, and conducting audits to ensure compliance. Upholds ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring objectivity in findings. Optimizes processes, leveraging technology, and employing best practices to enhance outcomes. Explores new tools, methodologies, and approaches to enhance analytical capabilities and drive innovation. Engages with stakeholders, representing organisational interests, and advocating for policies that support organisational goals. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE A Master's Degree in either Business Administration, Data Science, Risk Management, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are an added advantage. Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in either data analytics, investigations, risk management, compliance, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years in a management capacity. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, risk management, and investigation techniques. Proven experience in managing data analytics teams and projects.
