EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - GLOBAL AND DOMESTIC RELATIONS

JOB PURPOSE: Reporting to the Commissioner; Corporate Strategy, Research and Governance, the purpose of this role is to develop and execute comprehensive strategies, plans and policies for engaging with global and domestic stakeholders. The incumbent will also lead efforts to strengthen BURS global and domestic partnerships and alliances. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develops and implements comprehensive strategies to engage with stakeholders both internationally and local. Analyses political and economic trends to inform organisational decision-making and strategic planning. Works collaboratively across divisions to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts. Effectively communicates with stakeholders to build relationships and convey key messages. Planning, organizing, and overseeing events to engage stakeholders and achieve organisational goals. Manages financial resources effectively to support engagement and advocacy efforts. Provides leadership and guidance to team members to foster professional growth and achieve collective goals. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE A Master's Degree in either International Relations, Taxation, Customs, International Trade, or related field. Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in international relations, diplomacy, taxation, customs, international trade, or related field, with at least 5 years in a management capacity. Proven track record of successfully managing global and domestic relations programs and initiatives.
