Senior Portfolio and Asset Management Specialist

The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a Portfolio and Asset Management Specialist in Washington, DC. The incumbent will be responsible for providing senior level portfolio analysis, occupancy strategy, asset planning, scenario development, and executive decision support. 

• →Developing and maintaining a building portfolio plan.
• →Assessing current occupancy, vacancy, utilization, tenant mix, and revenue.
• →Maintaining supply-and-demand analyses for available space.
• →Developing occupancy, consolidation, backfill, and tenant placement scenarios.
• →Identifying opportunities to improve utilization and reduce vacant space carrying costs.
• →Analyzing prospective tenant requirements against available building space.
• →Supporting development of stacking plans and long-range occupancy plans.
• →Maintaining a rolling forecast of occupancy changes.
• →Identifying risks associated with vacancy, concentration of tenants, space turnover, tenant improvements, and occupancy timing.
• →Supporting asset-level financial and performance analyses.
• →Developing decision papers, executive briefings, and recommendations.
• →Coordinating portfolio assumptions with facilities, security, budget, acquisition, and project delivery organizations.
• →Supporting annual and multiyear planning for the building.
• →Maintaining a record of asset management decisions, assumptions, and approved strategies.
