Group SDE I - Stable Coin

As part of DP World’s strategy of making global trade flow, we are investing in products that will digitize the logistics ecosystem and provide services which will create stickiness importers and exporters to use DP World services. 

The candidate is expected to build the central payment and currency platform. that facilitates handling payments, invoices, and financial data, streamlining processes, and enhancing efficiency. Key components of the platform may include payment processing capabilities, integration with banking systems and payment gateways, robust security measures to protect sensitive financial information, and reporting and analytics tools for monitoring and analyzing transaction data. Currency platform facilitates international transactions and currency conversions and include real-time exchange rates, multi-currency wallets, peer-to-peer transfer capabilities, and compliance with regulatory requirements for handling currency transactions. 

As a SDE 1, you will be responsible for the software architecture across the foundational services portfolio. You will be deep in each of these products, standardize development practices, deployment procedures, prevent redundancies, and make architectural decisions for this portfolio. The ideal candidate would have built systems from the ground up, would have managed the architecture of a product or platform.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience to a Bachelor's degree based on 3 years of work experience for every 1 year of education

• 2-4 years professional experience in software development; you will be able to discuss in depth both the design and your significant contributions to one or more projects

• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals: data structure, algorithm, distributed system design, database, and design patterns.

• Strong coding skills with a modern language (NodeJS, GoLang, Scala, Java, etc)

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and DevOps automation

• REST, JavaScript/Typescript, Node, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Angular, ReactJS, Vue, AWS, machine learning, geolocation and mapping API

• Experience with distributed system performance analysis and optimization

• Familiar with AWS services (RDS, DynamoDB, Lamda, Kinesis, SNS, CloudWatch, …)

• Experience in NLP, Deep learning & Machine Learning.

• Experience in training machine learning models or developing machine learning infrastructure.

• Strong communications skills; you will be required to proactively engage colleagues both inside and outside of your team

• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.

• Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
