Responsibilities

2. Develop and implement reliability centered maintenance (RCM) strategies for critical terminal equipment.
3. Establish and manage predictive and condition-based maintenance programs.
4. Conduct condition monitoring activities including vibration analysis, ultrasound inspection, oil analysis, thermography, MCA, etc, for early detection of equipment faults.
5. Analyze equipment failures and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to eliminate recurring breakdowns.
6. Analyze equipment downtime and failure patterns to identify reliability risks
7. Monitor reliability KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability and breakdown hours.
8. Optimize preventive maintenance tasks using reliability analysis and historical equipment data.
9. Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors and OEMs for resolution of major reliability issues.
10. Ensure effective use of CMMS / Planned Maintenance Systems for reliability monitoring and maintenance planning.
11. Prepare reliability reports, equipment health reports and performance analysis for management review.
12. Ensure all reliability and maintenance activities comply with company health, safety and environmental procedures.
13. Report any abnormal equipment behavior or reliability risks to the Engineering Management.
14. Follow the procedure laid down by HO & represent CCTL in reliability related global events.
15. Train the engineers on techniques and advantages of reliability centered maintenance and promote adaptation of the same.
1. Expertise in predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, ultrasound, oil analysis and thermography
2. Strong analytical analysis ability to study equipment data and generate actionable insights
3. Knowledge of RCM, FMEA, and reliability engineering methodologies.
4. Experience in CMMS / Maintenance Management Systems, maximo is preferred
5. Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective action planning.
6. Good in oral & written communication skill alongwith presentations
Requirements
~1 min read• B.E. /B Tech. in Mechanical from reputed institute.
• Certified Level II Vibration Analyst OR Certified Level I Ultrasound Analyst
• Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) OR Certified Maintenance & Reliability Manager (CRM/CMRM)
• Minimum of 12 years experience in Container Terminal or Heavy Industry Engineering
• 5 Years as a in reliability engineering or predictive maintenance roles
• Should be aware of latest norms, regulations, best practices in container terminal engineering, safe working procedures, regulatory & statutory compliances.
• Should have handled team of 10 or more persons in past for a period of not less than 3 years
• Hands-on experience in maintaining QC/RTG is essential.
• Worked on CMMS software such as Maximo / SAP / IFS
