Designation: Senior Specialist - Accounts Receivables - Global Service Centre
Base Location: Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai
Reporting to: Assistant Manager - GSC
Key Role Responsibilities:
Build effective process & SSC team SLA
Ensure that the Debtors’ ledger is operated accurately, efficiently and to agreed timescale and ensure that the Collections are done on time.
Follow accounting policies and procedures to ensure good practice for Collection.
Ensure for Timely Processing, Query Resolution and Receipt of AR invoices
Manage daily Volumes / Queries relating from AR as per set target.
Review, reconcile and prepare analysis for GL accounts related to AR
Approve AR created Invoices in system
Prepare Weekly, Monthly MIS report for management reports
Coordinate with auditors for completing audit & resolving audit queries
Assist with monthly reconciliations, AR Schedules and month end close process
To be responsible for month end processes, ensuring that monthly reconciliation of AR Control Account General Ledger
Look at the opportunities to implement Automation and Process Improvement to make the processes more standard and efficient
Transition of new activities, build effective SOPs & train team
Review and verify invoices for accuracy, appropriate approvals, and adherence to company policies.
Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and legal requirements in all accounts receivables activities.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent communication skills
5-7 years’ experience in managing global functions like Accounts Receivable.
Experience in major ERPs like SAP/Oracle is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Flexible to work in shifts
Flexible to work from office

- Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collection of payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or disputes.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and potential risks.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management.
- Implement and maintain effective accounts receivable policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient cash flow.
- Monitor and track customer payments, following up on overdue accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounts receivable management.
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Experience working in a global or multinational environment is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
