In this role, you will work closely with our Social Media Manager and PR, Marketing & Communications Manager to elevate and shape the digital presence of The Entourage Group. As a Social Media Strategist, you will be responsible for both the strategic direction and end-to-end execution of our social media presence. You understand how to translate brand identity into compelling digital storytelling while maintaining a consistent, elevated aesthetic across all platforms.
This role goes beyond strategy. You own the entire creative and executional process from A to Z: from initial brainstorming and concept development to content creation, production, editing, publishing, and performance analysis. You are able to translate ideas and campaign directions into strong visual and written content that resonates with our target audience and drives engagement.
You will lead the development of social media strategies that strengthen brand positioning, increase engagement, and support overall business objectives, while also actively executing and producing content yourself.
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall business goals
Translate brand and campaign strategies into creative concepts, content ideas, and visual storytelling
Lead brainstorming sessions and develop campaign concepts from idea to execution
Create, produce, and edit high-quality content (copy, photography, video, and visual assets)
Oversee the full content production process, from shoot planning to final delivery
Write engaging captions and ensure consistent tone of voice across all platforms
Publish and schedule content across all social media channels
Define clear objectives and report on performance, engagement, and ROI
Grow and engage both new and existing audiences across platforms
Stimulate user-generated content and community engagement
Manage community interactions, respond to comments and messages in a timely and brand-consistent manner
Oversee the visual identity and design consistency of all social media accounts
Proactively suggest and implement new formats, campaigns, promotions, and activations to drive brand awareness
Stay up to date with trends, platform updates, and new social media tools and technologies
In addition to organic social media, you will also be responsible for the performance and paid advertising side of our digital channels. You understand how to set up, manage, and optimize social media advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta and TikTok.
Set up and manage paid social media campaigns (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.)
Analyze campaign performance and continuously optimize for reach, engagement, and conversion
Translate organic content and campaign ideas into effective paid advertising strategies
Understand and apply targeting, retargeting, and funnel strategies to drive conversions
Collaborate on performance-driven campaigns that connect social media activity to business results
(Plus) Experience or affinity with Google Ads and the ability to align social campaigns with search and website conversion strategies
While this is a strategic role, you are highly hands-on and comfortable executing daily content creation tasks. You actively work with social media management and analytics tools to streamline workflows, automate processes where appropriate, and ensure high-quality output at all times.
• Living in Amsterdam.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken) Dutch is a plus
• Proven work experience as a Social media manager
• Hands on experience in content management
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
• Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
• Knowledge of online marketing channels
• Knowledge of and affinity with the Hospitality industry
• Strong communication skills and hands-on mentality
