Wanna become a pro in HR?

Hello there! Are you looking to become a pro in personnel recruitment and selection and are you a true people person? Then this internship is tailor-made for you!

The July hotels each have their own unique identity. You can see it, and you can feel it as soon as you step into one of our hotels. As an HR Trainee, you'll establish that identity by searching for the coolest new colleagues and ensuring that employees feel right at home. You'll work on the entire employee journey and actively seek out improvements.

he July is where great stories begin...

The July is a premium hospitality brand redefining the way people travel with a personal, human touch. We create beautifully designed spaces in destinations around the globe, and our team is on a mission to expand with multiple new apartment-hotels in top European cities such as London, Dublin, Lisbon and more to plan. Each property is thoughtfully crafted, reflecting the unique local stories and spirit of its surroundings.

Are you still there? Great! We'd like to take you through a day in the life of an HR Trainee. When you walk into the hotel in the morning, you're greeted by your colleagues, and you start up your computer while enjoying a cup of coffee. You check your email and respond to employee inquiries. Additionally, you review the recently received job applications and schedule candidates for interviews with you and the manager. With your team, you go over ongoing matters, ensuring that you take care of the onboarding programs, organizing the intern day, and handling promotions related to job fairs.

You've spent enough time behind your PC! You take a walk around the hotel to check in on your colleagues and answer various questions. After lunch, you hop on your bike to head to Boat&Co for an interview for one of the open positions. Later, you make calls to companies for their references and handle the associated paperwork. At the end of the day, you update your to-do list and join in for the Bootcamp or Yoga classes!

Managerial responsibilities:
• Recruitment and selection of new employees and interns.
• Guiding the on/off boarding of staff.
• Taking part in various HR projects.
• Managing internal communication and organizing employee events.
• Participation in weekly HR meetings with the Management and monthly management meetings.
