Guest Service Supervisor
Quick Summary
keeping schedules on track, supporting guests and colleagues, coaching team members, and helping solve issues as they come up. You review guest feedback, spot improvements,
Our story started at Amsterdam ID Aparthotel in Sloterdijk, where we transformed an old office building into a place guests could truly call home. Since then, we’ve welcomed more than 100,000 guests from over 40 countries from weekend travelers to long-stay guests who stay for months at a time.
That warm, personal feeling became the foundation of The July: a hospitality brand focused on creating beautifully designed spaces where guests can relax, connect, and feel at home wherever they are in the world.
The July is a premium hospitality brand creating beautifully designed spaces around the world where guests can relax, connect, and stay their way.
As Guest Service Supervisor, you play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences while supporting and motivating the Front Office team. You lead by example, stay calm under pressure, and know how to turn everyday moments into something guests remember. One moment you’re helping guests plan their Amsterdam stay, the next you’re supporting the team during a busy check-in or arranging a personal touch for a returning guest. You know what great hospitality looks like and you bring that energy to your team.
Alongside guest experience, you ensure the daily operation runs smoothly. You take ownership of scheduling, coaching colleagues and interns, handling guest feedback, and safeguarding service standards across every shift.
You start with a handover and coffee with the team, going through arrivals, VIPs, and the day’s priorities.
From there, you’re at the centre of the operation: keeping schedules on track, supporting guests and colleagues, coaching team members, and helping solve issues as they come up. You review guest feedback, spot improvements, and work closely with Duty Managers to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes
