At The Lighting Group, our ServiceFirst culture drives everything we do. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager who shares this commitment—someone who takes ownership of projects, prioritizes customer experience, and consistently delivers with urgency and care.

This role is responsible for managing lighting projects from post-quotation handoff through final completion. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, multitasking environment and brings a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to every interaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

    • Manage multiple lighting projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, priorities, and customer expectations are consistently met.
    • Deliver a ServiceFirst experience by proactively communicating, anticipating challenges, and resolving issues quickly and professionally.
    • Review quotes against fixture schedules and specifications to confirm accurate bills of materials.
    • Prepare detailed and accurate submittals, ensuring all project requirements and clarifications are addressed.
    • Process purchase orders with manufacturers and provide clear, timely shipping updates to customers.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and positive project experience from start to finish.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and internal teams.
    • Collaborate with peers to support a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

    • 2+ years of lighting industry experience preferred.
    • Strong understanding of lighting product specifications and manufacturer literature.
    • Familiarity with the relationships between manufacturers, lighting agencies, and electrical distributors.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe/Bluebeam, and lighting quote/order entry systems.
    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service and follow-through.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a ServiceFirst mindset.
