The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract and hire qualified candidates across a variety of roles and departments. This role serves as a strategic partner to hiring managers, delivering a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders while supporting the organization's workforce goals.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned requisitions, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer extension, and pre-employment coordination
- →Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and ideal candidate profiles
- →Conduct thorough phone, video or in person screens to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and culture fit
- →Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a timely and organized process
- →Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and requisition data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- →Provide a high-quality, consistent candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance
- →Extend and negotiate offers of employment in collaboration with HR and hiring managers
- →Build and maintain a proactive pipeline of talent for current and future hiring needs
- →Track and report on recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, pipeline activity, and offer acceptance rates
- →Stay informed on labor market trends, compensation benchmarks, and best practices in talent acquisition
- →Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and internal hiring policies throughout the recruitment process
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; equivalent experience considered
- Minimum 3–4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, either in-house or agency
- Experience recruiting across multiple departments and job levels preferred
- Familiarity with ATS platforms (e.g., BambooHR)
- Solid understanding of sourcing techniques, including Boolean search and social recruiting
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and process consistency
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws (EEO, ADA, OFCCP, etc.)
- Positive, candidate-centered approach with a sense of urgency and professionalism
- Standard office environment; occasional travel may be required for job fairs or hiring events
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate candidate availability
