The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a premier warehousing and logistics organization, and we are looking to hire a dependable Art Handler to support all aspects of collections, deliveries, and relocations involving personal property, fine art, and antiques under the direction of a supervisor at the Plantation, FL location. This role requires precision, care, and experience working with delicate and valuable pieces in both local and interstate environments in a professional, team-oriented environment. What You’ll Do Key Responsibilities Perform daily collections and deliveries, both locally and interstate, as required Assist with the accurate completion of all paperwork while on-site or in the field, including condition reports for transported goods Work closely with the Driver to ensure vehicles are safe, clean, and fully prepared for each day or trip and verify required goods against the daily trip sheet or manifest at the start of the day Ensure any changes to the daily trip manifest are reported to and approved by the Operations Manager or Dispatch Manager before implementation Safely handle artwork, fragile items, antiques, and fine furniture Assist with installation projects Conduct condition checks and prepare detailed condition reports as needed Pack artwork, antiques, and fine furniture for transportation and storage using appropriate materials and techniques Assist with the loading and unloading of company vehicles Provide support to the Warehouse Team as directed by management Assist the Warehouse Manager with inventory management and control Follow instructions effectively while working as part of small crews and project teams Assist with scanning and tracking property to ensure inventory records and locations remain accurate at all times Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality on every assignment Complete manual timesheets when required to start or end the workday at a location other than company premises, signed by the manager or supervisor within 24 hours What We Are Looking For Education, Experience and Skills High school diploma or GED required Experience in the moving and art-handling industry, including packing, transporting, and handling artwork, furniture, and antiques for both local and interstate moves Working knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and moving processes Understanding of inventory management procedures, with the ability to learn how to improve on techniques for handling furniture, artwork, and antiques from collection through installation Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Exceptional communication and multitasking skills Ability to accurately complete detailed documentation, paperwork, and condition reports Collaborative team player capable of working effectively with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working in a performance- and results-driven workplace Professional, reliable, and customer-focused demeanor always Proficient in the safe use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, pry bars, dollies, and other material-handling equipment Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and regularly maneuver large, heavy objects without risk of injury or damage to object or person, including pushing and pulling up to 120 pounds using a dolly or cart Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach overhead for extended periods as required by the role Additional Requirements Comply with all HR policies, procedures, and company guidelines Follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures Act in the best interests of the company, its clients, and employees If you are a dependable, detail-oriented, and committed Art Handler looking to delivering exceptional service while upholding the highest standards of care and professionalism, this is the opportunity for you.
