Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shift What You’ll Do The ER RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, supervising, and evaluating the nursing care of patients. Responsibilities Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity levels Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Monitor, evaluate, and document patient conditions, responses to treatment, and clinical outcomes Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions Operate and maintain emergency department equipment while ensuring patient safety and quality standards are met Respond effectively to medical emergencies, trauma situations, and critical care needs in a fast-paced environment Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and nursing documentation Advocate for patients and support a culture of compassionate, patient-centered care Adhere to all hospital policies, regulatory requirements, infection prevention standards, and nursing best practices Correlate the nursing process with the medical plan of care and organizational policies to ensure safe, effective, and coordinated patient care What We’re Looking For Experience with standard nursing and medical equipment Strong communication skills and English proficiency Passion for delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment Education & Certifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse required 1+ year of Emergency Department or related specialty experience preferred Current New Mexico RN license (or compact state license) required BLS certification within 6 weeks of hire ACLS, and PALS certifications required TNCC certification required within 90 days of employment Why You’ll Love This Opportunity Supportive, employee-focused culture Career growth and advancement opportunities Collaborative and mission-driven team environment Competitive compensation with shift differentials Meaningful work serving the local community What You Can Expect Compensation & Benefits Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial wellness, and future: Competitive pay rates based on experience Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with up to 5% employer match Health Savings Account (HSA) Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Life & Disability Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Worldwide Travel Assistance Employee Online Discount Marketplace If you're an RN seeking a rewarding opportunity with a healthcare organization that invests in its people, we’d love to connect with you.
