As an ER Charge Nurse, you will play a critical leadership role in a fast-paced emergency department, serving as both a clinical expert and team leader. You will oversee daily department operations, coordinate patient care activities, support nursing staff, and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient satisfaction are achieved. Shift: Full-Time | Nights What You'll Do Clinical Leadership & Patient Care Coordinate and oversee patient care activities throughout the Emergency Department Assess, plan, implement, supervise, and evaluate nursing care for patients with a wide range of emergent and acute conditions Ensure effective integration of the nursing process, medical treatment plans, and organizational policies Act as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members Assist with complex patient care situations and provide clinical guidance during high-acuity events Charge Nurse Responsibilities Lead daily shift operations and support efficient department workflow Assign patient care responsibilities based on staff competencies, patient acuity, and departmental needs Monitor staffing levels and collaborate with leadership to optimize patient throughput and resource utilization Facilitate communication between physicians, nurses, ancillary departments, patients, and families Promote a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered culture.
