Licensed Practical Nurse – Med Surg (PRN | Days)

The Staff Pad is partnering with Russellville Hospital, located in Russellville, AL to hire a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse – Med Surg (PRN) for a dynamic inpatient care team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This position works collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality patient care, promote positive outcomes, and ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards. What You’ll Do Perform comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document findings Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to any changes in status Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff Educate patients and families on treatments, recovery, and ongoing care Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Uphold hospital standards for safety, quality, and infection control What We’re Looking For Active LPN license in the state of Alabama At least 3 months of nursing experience required Acute care experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking abilities Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting Why This Opportunity?
