The Staff Pad has partnered with a renowned hospital in Helena, MT with a vision to be the gold standard for healthcare and we are looking for experienced Patient Access Specialists to play a key role in creating a welcoming, seamless experience for patients. Available Opportunities & Schedule: Diagnostic Imaging - Monday–Friday | 11:30 AM – 6:30 PM Clinic Registration - Full time and variable shift roles available What You’ll Do Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone & Serve as the first point of contact Register patients, schedule appointments, manage referrals and prior authorizations Utilizing healthcare scheduling systems and templates accurately and efficiently Provide appointment instructions and answer basic patient questions Verify insurance coverage and eligibility Collect and update patient demographic, insurance, and payment information Review and maintain accurate provider schedules and patient flow Use electronic health record (EHR) systems to document and update patient records Coordinate with providers, care teams, and external offices to ensure timely access to care Maintain accurate documentation to support reimbursement Deliver excellent customer service while protecting patient confidentiality Assists with general office duties and coordinates with patients, provider offices, and care teams to schedule appointments accurately What We Are Looking For Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET equivalent preferred 1–2 years of hospital admissions or medical office experience Experience in healthcare scheduling or customer service Required Skills Strong customer service, communication, organizational & multi-tasking skills Knowledge of medical terminology & ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to manage multiple interruptions while maintaining accuracy Strong attention to detail, professionalism, honesty, integrity, and confidentiality What You Can Expect: Benefits: Competitive Compensation Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Long & Short-Term Disability Coverage, HSA& FSA Options Generous PTO, Vacation days, holidays & sick leave Tuition Assistance & Reimbursement 403(b) Retirement Plan with 3% employer match Cafeteria, Health Club Membership & Affordable Child Care Success Share Payout Compensation is reviewed annually to remain competitive with industry standards.
