The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed critical access hospital in Alturas, CA, to hire a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support care across outpatient, inpatient, swing bed, and skilled nursing settings, making a meaningful impact in a close-knit community. Schedule: Full-Time |Part-Time | Per Diem opportunities available | Day Shift | On-site What You’ll Do Provide safe, effective care under the supervision of Physical Therapists Support patient progress using evidence-based interventions Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams Ensure compliance with PT practice standards, EMR use, and safety protocols Foster a positive team culture through professionalism and initiative Participate in training, program development, and team initiatives What We’re Looking For Graduate of an APTA-accredited PTA program Active California PTA license Current BLS/CPR certification EMR proficiency and interest or experience in outpatient, acute, or SNF settings Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset What You Can Expect $5,000 Sign-On Bonus (Full-Time) - $2,500 at hire, $2,500 after 2 years Relocation Assistance up to $5,000 Comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & AD&D Retirement plans: 457(b) with employer match + pension Generous PTO, employee assistance program, and longevity bonuses Tuition assistance and free care for employee/ dependents after insurance If you're a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant seeking a rewarding role with excellent benefits, flexible scheduling, and growth opportunities, we encourage you to apply and join a team committed to helping patients achieve their highest level of function and independence.
