AHEAD is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to enable multiple Agile teams within Enterprise Engineering. This role combines delivery leadership, facilitation, coaching, and continuous improvement to help cross-functional teams deliver valuable, high-quality technology solutions predictably.
The Senior Scrum Master will partner closely with product owners, engineering leaders, developers, quality engineers, and business stakeholders. They will foster team ownership, remove delivery barriers, improve cross-team coordination, and use data to strengthen execution. This is an individual-contributor role requiring influence across technical and business teams.

Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile working sessions across multiple teams.

Coach teams in Agile principles, Scrum practices, estimation, capacity planning, definition of ready, and definition of done.

Help teams become self-organizing, accountable, and focused on delivering measurable business value.

Partner with product owners to maintain healthy, prioritized backlogs aligned with product roadmaps and business objectives.

Identify, track, and remove impediments that affect delivery, escalating systemic issues when necessary.

Coordinate dependencies, risks, releases, and delivery commitments across Enterprise Engineering teams.

Use delivery metrics—including velocity trends, cycle time, throughput, predictability, and work-in-progress—to identify improvement opportunities.

Communicate delivery health, risks, dependencies, and actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership.

Promote engineering practices that support quality, sustainable delivery, and operational readiness.

Foster transparency, psychological safety, constructive conflict resolution, and healthy team dynamics.

Lead continuous-improvement initiatives and ensure retrospective actions produce measurable results.

Mentor Scrum Masters and contribute reusable practices, standards, and learning across Agile Operations.

Support organizational change and the continued maturity of AHEAD’s Agile operating model.

Working knowledge of AI-assisted tools and workflows (e.g., generative AI assistants, AI-powered coding/testing tools, or agentic AI platforms) relevant to the role's core function.

Ability to apply effective prompting techniques to accelerate research, documentation, coding, or analysis tasks.

Comfortable learning and adopting new AI-enabled tools as part of day-to-day work, with a willingness to continuously build AI fluency.

Understanding of responsible AI use, including data privacy, security, and verification of AI-generated outputs before acting on them.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

At least five years of experience in technology delivery, including substantial experience as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery leader.

Demonstrated experience supporting multiple cross-functional software, platform, SaaS, automation, or enterprise application teams.

Strong knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum, Kanban, software delivery lifecycles, and continuous-improvement practices.

Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, or a comparable Agile lifecycle-management platform.

Experience managing cross-team dependencies, delivery risks, and stakeholder expectations.

Proven facilitation, coaching, mentoring, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving capabilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage technical contributors and senior stakeholders

Certified ScrumMaster, Professional Scrum Master, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, or comparable certification.

Experience working with Salesforce or other enterprise SaaS development teams.

Familiarity with DevOps, release management, CI/CD, quality automation, and modern engineering practices.

Experience supporting distributed or globally located teams.

Experience introducing delivery metrics and coaching teams to use data constructively.

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and enterprise collaboration tools
