The Operations team works across the entire global Tomorrow organization to help all business units achieve their goals. We work with Tomorrow stakeholders and leadership to design and implement our operating plan, and to measure and track progress against our goals.
We’re looking for a Supply Chain and Operations Specialist who will own and execute the day to day procurement, receiving, shipping, production, and inventory control processes. You will own inventory accuracy, bin/lot traceability, purchase order and documentation compliance,
and make sure we are building the biggest weather platform in the world. Your work will directly impact our operational efficiency, collaborating with teams across the company, including production, engineering, finance, and the Space & Sensors team.
This role requires someone who excels in attention to detail, is resourceful, and will be a proactive partner to our Space and Sensors team in Golden. This position requires a hands-on approach, with daily in-person involvement in the Golden office to support our engineering, production, and supply chain teams.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Procurement: Manage day to day procurement of materials from initial requisition to delivery, including sourcing supplies, issuing purchase orders, reconciling invoices with finance
- →Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records in NetSuite, including transactions, receiving, lot/serial tracking, and cycle counts.
- →Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and Tomorrow.io's policies, including export control laws and procurement regulations.
- →Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, production, engineering, and the Space & Sensors team.
- →Logistics & Shipping: Own the execution of shipping and receiving
- →Process Improvement: Participate in supply chain process improvements and identify opportunities for better efficiency and effectiveness.
- Experience working in a hardware manufacturing environment, with preference for aerospace
- Technical ERP / MRP Expertise: Experience with ERP and/or MRP for managing Supply Chain Operations; generating reports and dashboards
- Experience with Inventory Control (bins, lots/serial tracking, cycle counts)
- Procurement Execution (EEE Components)
- Start-up/Space Industry Experience: Experience in a startup environment or the space industry is a plus but not required.
