Electrical Engineer

• →Experience with OrCAD X or other professional ECAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout. 

• →Experience with 8D problem solving and formal root cause and corrective action methodologies. 

• →Experience with IoT connected products, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communications. 

• →Familiarity with EMI and EMC compliance testing for consumer electronics. 

• →Experience with reliability testing, test fixture design, or production test development. 

• →Experience developing products using a stage gate process. 

• →Experience leveraging AI for improved efficiency.  

• →Prior experience in consumer electronics or outdoor cooking products. 

What You'll Need To Succeed: 

• →Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. 

• →2 to 4 years of experience in electrical hardware engineering or a related field. 

• →Working knowledge of analog and digital circuit design fundamentals and circuit analysis. 

• →Understanding of microcontroller architecture and peripheral interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN. 

• →Hands on experience with bench level debugging and hardware bring up using oscilloscopes and standard lab equipment. 

• →Soldering skills sufficient to rework circuit boards and wiring harnesses. 

• →Basic understanding of PCB layout principles and best practices. 

• →Disciplined, data driven approach to problem solving. 

• →Ability to translate complex technical content into clear written troubleshooting instructions for a customer service audience. 

• →Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using JIRA or similar work tracking tools. 

• →Ability to travel domestically and overseas, including to Asia, to support supplier and NPI activities. 

• →Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a cross functional team environment.
