SchedulerConstruction & Real Estate

Performs clerical and scheduling duties in the GI department under the supervision of the SSSU Director and/ or charge RN. Coordinates pre and post procedure activities. Responsible for scheduling GI procedure & appointments, making pre-procedure calls for registration and procedure explanations, making follow-up appointments as required and communication to appropriate designated areas. Duties expanded as directed.

High school diploma or GED, required.

If the selected candidate is also a CNA, then a current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification car on hire or within orientation period is required.

Familiarity with medical terminology.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Competent in the use of computers, fax, and copy machine.
