Catering, Cleaning & Recycling Coordinator

Start Date: July 2026

Reporting to the Catering, Cleaning & Recycling Manager, the Coordinator will provide operational and administrative support for the planning and delivery of catering, cleaning, waste management, and recycling services across Games venues. 

This role will assist in implementing venue-level service plans, supporting supplier coordination, and monitoring delivery performance to ensure operations meet Games-time standards and sustainability objectives. The Coordinator will play a key part in ensuring catering and cleaning services run smoothly for athletes, workforce, and spectators while contributing to Glasgow 2026’s wider operational and environmental commitments. 

The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with experience coordinating logistics or operations in large-scale events or fast-paced environments. 

Working arrangements
The role will initially be based at the Organising Company’s Glasgow city centre office, with visits to competition venues as required to support the effective delivery of responsibilities. As the Games approach, the role will transition to being primarily based at your assigned competition venue. 

The position is initially contracted for 37.5 hours per week (with a 30-minute lunch break), with office attendance aligned to the Organising Company’s working pattern. During the Games-time operational period, shift patterns will apply and may include evenings and weekends.
