Protocol Venue Manager

Reporting directly to the Event Venue General Manager for Trivandi’s onsite delivery and the Senior Protocol Manager for OC wide Protocol Operations, the Protocol Venue Manager will be an experienced event protocol professional with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a background in developing strong working relationships and leading protocol operations in a multi-sport events environment a distinct advantage. The ideal candidate will have exceptional problem-solving abilities, a proactive mindset, trong customer service skills sand a commitment to delivering a world-class visitor experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Working arrangements

The role will initially be based at the Organising Company’s Glasgow city centre office, with visits to competition venues as required to support the effective delivery of responsibilities. As the Games approach, the role will transition to being primarily based at your assigned competition venue. 

The position is initially contracted for 37.5 hours per week (with a 30-minute lunch break), with office attendance aligned to the Organising Company’s working pattern. During the Games-time operational period, shift patterns will apply and may include evenings and weekends.
