Security Monitoring: Watch for strange network activity using SIEM (tools that collect and analyze security logs).

Vulnerability Scanning: Run software to find weak spots in systems.

Risk Documentation: Help map technical rules to security guidelines like NIST.

Access Control: Grant or remove user access to company files and apps.

Scripting: Write simple code (like Python) to automate boring, repetitive tasks.

Education: Currently OR recent graduate pursuing or have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.

Foundational Knowledge: Basic understanding of networking (IP addresses, routers) and operating systems (Windows/Linux).

Mindset: Strong desire to learn and a high attention to detail for writing clear reports
