Fuel Supply Planner

The Opportunity

Join a long-term Defence contract where you'll play an important role in keeping fuel moving across a national network that supports the Army, Navy and Air Force.

Reporting to the Fuel Operations Manager, you'll take ownership of fuel planning for your allocated region, forecasting future fuel requirements, coordinating supply and making sure Defence sites have the fuel they need when they need it.

This role gives you exposure to the full supply chain. You'll be working closely with suppliers, operational teams and Defence stakeholders to manage inventory levels, coordinate fuel deliveries, identify potential supply risks and keep everything running smoothly.

A big part of the role is stakeholder engagement. You'll regularly engage with Operations staff, site supervisors and Defence representatives across the Army, Navy and Air Force, building strong relationships and working together to solve problems and plan upcoming fuel movements.

You'll be joining a team of five experienced planners, each responsible for their own region. There's a strong onboarding plan in place, including a buddy system and support from the current incumbent to help get you up to speed.

Requires

• Experience in fuel, oil & gas, petrochemical, aviation fuel or similar industries.

• Experience in supply planning, forecasting, logistics or supply chain operations.

• Ability to build relationships with teams, contractors and customers.

• Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach to getting things done.

• Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain Defence clearance.
