JOB DESCRIPTION - Assoc Manager, Technology Consulting
Position Summary
The Manager - Technology Consulting leads a team of Technology Consultants delivering complex implementations and technical solutions for UKG Workforce Management (WFM), Payroll, and related SaaS platforms.
This role combines people leadership, technical governance, customer engagement, and strategic execution. The Manager ensures high-quality delivery, scalable product workflow designs, and strong customer outcomes within a Professional Services environment in a product-based organization.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Technology Consultants, driving performance, engagement, and technical capability growth.
Define and execute delivery strategies aligned with Professional Services objectives.
Plan capacity, manage utilization, and ensure efficient, scalable service delivery.
Delivery & Technical Oversight
Oversee end-to-end implementation of complex SaaS solutions, ensuring adherence to architecture, security, and best practices.
Provide technical leadership in:
Product workflow design and configuration (e.g., Activiti-based workflows for attestations and approvals)
SSO (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) and identity management
API integrations (REST/SOAP) and third-party connectivity
Networking fundamentals and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
Review and approve solution designs and act as an escalation point for critical technical issues.
Operational Excellence & Customer Engagement
Drive standardization of methodologies, governance, and workflow optimization across engagements.
Monitor delivery metrics (quality, CSAT, productivity) and implement continuous improvements.
Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, managing escalations and executive-level interactions.
Partner with Implementation, Support, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure successful deployments and long-term solution adoption.
Qualifications
12+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS implementation or technical consulting within a product-based organization.
3+ years of people management experience leading technical or consulting teams.
Strong expertise in UKG Pro WFM / Payroll / Time & Labor or similar enterprise platforms.
Hands-on experience with product workflow engines (e.g., Activiti), identity technologies, integrations, and cloud environments.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
