Job Summary
The International Sourcing Analyst II is a key member of the Sourcing & Procurement organization and serves as the dedicated sourcing partner for international legal entities. Working closely with the Director of Sourcing – Global, this role will lead sourcing and procurement projects across categories, from initial intake and requirements definition through market analysis, sourcing, negotiation, contracting, implementation, and supplier follow-up.
This is an individual-contributor role with end-to-end ownership of assigned projects. The International Sourcing Analyst II will independently manage a portfolio of international sourcing initiatives, establish project plans and timelines, coordinate stakeholders and suppliers, develop recommendations, and remain accountable for delivering measurable business value.
The successful candidate will combine strong sourcing fundamentals, commercial judgment, analytical capability, and knowledge of international business practices. The role will work with stakeholders across countries, functions, and time zones and will help ensure that international procurement activity is consistent with Sourcing & Procurement policies while also reflecting local business, legal, financial, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Sourcing Project Ownership
• Lead assigned sourcing and procurement projects for international legal entities from intake through completion, including project planning, stakeholder alignment, sourcing execution, negotiation, contracting, implementation, and closeout.
• Serve as the primary Sourcing & Procurement point of contact for assigned projects and maintain clear accountability for scope, milestones, deliverables, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
• Develop project plans, sourcing strategies, timelines, stakeholder maps, evaluation criteria, communication plans, and decision materials appropriate to the complexity and value of each initiative.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong organization, timely follow-up, accurate documentation, and consistent communication with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Escalate risks, delays, scope changes, and unresolved decisions to the Director of Sourcing – Global with clear recommendations and proposed actions.
International Stakeholder and Business Partnership
• Build effective working relationships across countries and time zones and adapt communication, project management, and sourcing approaches to local business needs.
• Help international stakeholders navigate Sourcing & Procurement requirements, approval processes, supplier onboarding, contracting, and applicable policies.
• Clarify business requirements, challenge specifications when appropriate, identify opportunities to consolidate demand, and promote enterprise value while respecting local requirements.
• Provide regular project updates, recommendations, and status reporting to the Director of Sourcing – Global and relevant business leadership.
Strategic Sourcing and Negotiations
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories and projects, including Requests for Information, Requests for Proposal, Requests for Quote, competitive bidding, benchmarking, and direct negotiations.
• Conduct market, supplier, and commercial research to understand supplier capabilities, competitive dynamics, pricing drivers, market conditions, and potential sourcing opportunities.
• Develop sourcing documentation, supplier communications, evaluation criteria, bid analyses, negotiation plans, and recommendation materials.
• Analyze supplier proposals, pricing structures, payment terms, service levels, contract terms, and other commercial considerations to develop clear comparisons and recommendations.
• Lead or actively participate in supplier negotiations, using data, benchmarking, scenario analysis, and commercial judgment to improve value and manage risk.
• Coordinate supplier presentations, clarification meetings, reference checks, due diligence, and other activities needed to support an informed award decision.
Contracting, Implementation, and Supplier Management
• Partner with Legal, TPRM, Finance, business stakeholders, and suppliers to move sourcing recommendations through contracting and approval to execution.
• Review Statements of Work, order forms, proposals, pricing schedules, and other commercial documents for alignment with negotiated terms, business requirements, and approved sourcing outcomes.
• Coordinate implementation activities, including purchase order requirements, supplier onboarding, transition planning, communications, and handoff to the appropriate business owner.
• Support supplier performance management by establishing expectations, tracking issues, coordinating business reviews, and escalating performance concerns when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate sourcing, contract, supplier, project, and savings information in applicable procurement systems and tracking tools.
• Support renewals and extensions for assigned international suppliers by assessing business needs, historical spend, performance, market alternatives, and commercial opportunities.
Savings, Value Creation, and Reporting
• Identify and pursue cost savings, cost avoidance, demand management, process improvements, risk reduction, and other sources of value across assigned international projects.
• Document sourcing assumptions, baselines, negotiated outcomes, implementation timing, and supporting evidence for each project.
Governance, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement
• Ensure assigned projects follow Sourcing & Procurement policies, approval requirements, sourcing practices, contracting standards, and applicable controls.
• Identify and communicate potential compliance, supplier, commercial, legal, tax, currency, payment, or operational risks associated with international sourcing projects.
• Maintain complete and audit-ready project documentation, including requirements, sourcing events, evaluations, approvals, negotiations, recommendations, contracts, and savings support.
• Identify opportunities to improve international sourcing processes, templates, tools, stakeholder experience, and consistency across legal entities.
• Share lessons learned, market intelligence, supplier insights, and effective practices with the Director of Sourcing – Global and the broader Sourcing & Procurement organization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, International Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, purchasing, supply chain, commercial analysis, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience independently leading sourcing or procurement projects from requirements definition through negotiation, contracting, and implementation.
• Experience managing sourcing events such as RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, competitive bids, or structured negotiations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret spend, pricing, supplier, and commercial data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Strong negotiation, project management, organization, prioritization, and follow-through skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and suppliers across functions, countries, and organizational levels.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accurate documentation and timely delivery.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, take ownership of outcomes, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other business productivity and procurement tools.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working directly with international legal entities, regional business units, or stakeholders across multiple countries and time zones.
• Experience leading sourcing projects across corporate services, professional services, facilities, travel, marketing, human resources, finance, or other non-technology categories.
• Experience with international contracting, cross-border sourcing, multiple currencies, local market requirements, tax considerations, payment terms, or supplier due diligence.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management, sourcing, spend analytics, supplier management, or procurement workflow platforms.
• Experience partnering with Finance to calculate and validate P&L savings, contractual savings, cost avoidance, or other value measures.
• Experience supporting supplier performance management, business reviews, or post-award governance.
