| Position Overview: |
Serves as primary resource for interpreting university policies and procedures, resolving complex and non-routine financial matters, and ensuring consistent application of university, State of Maryland, and IRS requirements and guidelines. The Specialist independently exercises sound judgment in determining appropriate resolutions, and serves as a liaison among departmental administrators, principal investigators, vendors, and central offices. The position maintains current knowledge of evolving policies, systems, and processes and translates those requirements into practical guidance and directives. |

Salary: $57,000 - $64,500 depending on qualifications and experience. The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. |
