Controller

United Integrated Services (USA) is seeking a Controller to join our team! 

The Controller will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounting progress and financial reporting, overseeing tax compliance, and providing data-driven forecasts to support organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations, and financial planning and analysis, playing a key role in forecasting and ensuring compliance.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.         

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial management; 5+ years of experience in a senior-level accounting or finance role.
• Experience within construction industry, strongly preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with ERP/Accounting software.
• Familiarity with Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Advanced skills in Excel.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. High level of attention to detail, and highly organized.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and employees.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Experience working in an accounting firm; Big 4 is a plus.
• Construction industry experience.
• Certified Public Accountant, a plus.

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.

• Indoor and/or outdoor work environments, which may include varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Work in confined spaces, elevated areas, or active job sites, depending on project requirements.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and high-visibility vests.
• Interaction with powered industrial equipment, tools, and vehicles.
