About the Role
~1 min readAs the Lecturer in Paramedicine you will work as a key contributor within University of Tasmania Health, playing a critical role in advancing the University of Tasmania’s mission through innovative education in healthcare.
In this position, your primary focus will be to develop and deliver high-quality teaching in Paramedicine courses, integrating contemporary research findings into curriculum development to address the evolving needs of the healthcare sector. This role enables you to influence the future of healthcare education and practices, aligning with the University's strategic goals of improving health and social outcomes on a local and global scale.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Deliver exceptional teaching experiences, utilising innovative methods and technologies to engage students in both online and face-to-face settings.
- →Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Paramedicine curriculum, ensuring it remains current, comprehensive, and aligned with academic standards.
- →Actively participate in community engagement initiatives, fostering relationships between the university, the industry, and wider community stakeholders.
- →Pursue opportunities for professional growth and contribute to the academic community within the university, enhancing the reputation of the School of Paramedicine and Public Safety.
- Significant clinical paramedic experience.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and curriculum development in a tertiary or clinical setting.
- Engagement in research activities that inform and enhance teaching practices.
- Postgraduate qualifications in education and advanced clinical practice.
- Registration as a Paramedic or eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Appointment to this role will be at Academic Level B and will have a total remuneration package of up to $155,885 comprising base salary within the range of $114,766 to $133,235 plus 17% superannuation.
