The New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is seeking Marketing Interns to support the Client Development & Marketing Department. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,300 lawyers located in 16 offices across six countries.

 

The Marketing Interns will assist with a variety of business development and marketing functions, including experience tracking for sell sheets, research support, pitch audits, database maintenance, and event coordination. The ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, self-motivated individuals with strong research and organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a genuine interest in legal marketing and business development.

 

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a law firm environment. We are seeking candidates for a six-month co-op internship running from January through June 2027, as well as a year-round internship available for an immediate start and requiring a 12-month commitment.

Responsibilities

  • →Marketing & Business Development
    • →Research using CapitalIQ, LinkedIn and corporate websites.
  • →Data Management
    • →Support CRM by updating mailing lists, researching contacts, creating reports and ensuring data accuracy.
  • →Provide exceptional administrative support to attorneys and staff while maintaining communication with attorneys, staff and manager
  • →Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Library Science, or related field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Ability to conduct research using various databases and online platforms
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Ability to sit at a desk most of the working day and walk short distances.
  • Needs manual dexterity, speed and accuracy in handling office equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.
  • Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals.
  • Ability to carry light objects, e.g., files, small objects and supplies a short distance.

USD $20.00 - USD $22.00 /Hr.

The pay range for this role represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications and location.

This position is an hourly role and benefits eligibility will be more limited. Candidates should direct questions about benefits to the hiring manager for clarification as needed.
