Project Manager

Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. (V&EG) a Pinnaql company is a leading services supplier who provides solutions for the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Chemical, Food, and Medical Devices industries in the following areas: Laboratory, Compliance, Computer, Engineering, Project Management, Validation, and other services.

We are seeking a talented, dedicated individual committed to work under the highest ethics standards for the following position:

• Program/Project Manager

This resource is expected to:

• Serve as the single point of accountability for schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder management across both the SMP program and the CHP project simultaneously
• Personally manage the day-to-day coordination workload of both initiatives — workshops, A&E and contractor coordination, CAR/budget tracking, permitting follow-up, and progress reporting — without requiring BMS to manage two disconnected work streams
• Act as the direct, regular interface with Engineering, Operations, Quality, EHS, Facilities, Finance, and Procurement, as well as Corporate Engineering/EHS stakeholders
• Proactively flag and resolve conflicts or resource contention between the SMP and CHP workstreams (e.g., shared A&E capacity, overlapping utility tie-ins, shared site access/outage windows)
• Maintain a consistently high, working-level understanding of both programs at all times, sufficient to represent either one directly to the site and corporate leadership without needing to check back with other team members
• Be based on-site or available for substantial, recurring on-site presence at the facility for the duration of the engagement

Responsibilities:

• Overall program/project governance, schedule, budget, and risk management • Stakeholder coordination across Engineering, Operations, Quality, EHS, Facilities, Finance, and Procurement, as well as Corporate EHS and Engineering teams
• Development and maintenance of integrated master schedules
• Cost estimating, budget tracking, and Capital Appropriation Request (CAR) support
• Contractor/vendor and design firm (A&E) procurement support and oversight
• Risk register development and mitigation tracking
• Change control and document management
• Regulatory/permitting coordination (local, PREPA, EPA/EQB as applicable)
• Progress reporting (weekly/monthly) to site leadership and Global Technical Services stakeholders
• Support for GMP compliance, validation, and commissioning/qualification hand-off as needed

Qualitifications:

• Proven experience providing PM services for pharmaceutical/biologics manufacturing facilities operating under cGMP; Engineering degree preferred for the lead PM
• Direct experience personally leading site master planning engagements at industrial or life sciences campuses
• Direct experience managing cogeneration/CHP or industrial power generation projects, including utility interconnection and permitting
• Demonstrated ability to carry a combined, multi-workstream workload as a single accountable lead (not solely team-based delivery)
• Experience working in Puerto Rico (preferred) — familiarity with PREPA interconnection requirements, EQB permitting, and the local labor/construction market
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) project staff capability
• Relevant certifications (PMP, CCM, or equivalent) for the proposed lead and key personnel
