This role is ideal for an individual with strong expertise in Salesforce development, solution design and technical leadership who can contribute across the full Salesforce development lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with solution architects, delivery teams and stakeholders to design, develop and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions while promoting engineering excellence and mentoring colleagues. Experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) will be highly valued. ## What you’ll do * Participate in refining and scoping upcoming sprint activities. * Support solution architects with technical design, estimation, and decomposition of complex requirements. * Develop, customise, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using platform best practices. * Deliver assigned user stories and development activities within agreed timelines and quality standards. * Conduct technical investigations and proof-of-concept activities to assess emerging technologies and platform enhancements. * Review code contributions and promote high standards of quality, maintainability, and performance. * Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless API and system connectivity. * Work closely with QA teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and production issues. * Mentor and support team members through knowledge sharing, technical guidance, and problem-solving. * Analyse and implement technical designs for scalable and effective Salesforce solutions. * Collaborate effectively with both offshore and onshore delivery teams. ## Who you are ### Essential Experience * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. * Minimum 7 years of Salesforce development experience. * Strong understanding of the Salesforce development lifecycle and platform architecture. * Experience delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations. ### Technical Expertise * Lightning Web Components (LWC) * Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience * Apex Development * Apex Triggers * Visualforce Pages * Aura Components * Salesforce Flows * Salesforce Integrations and APIs * Sales Cloud * Service Cloud * Experience Cloud * Salesforce Development Best Practices ### Desirable Experience * Salesforce Industries (Vlocity), including: * OmniScripts * Enterprise Product Catalogue (EPC) * Integration Procedures ### Certifications * Salesforce Certified Administrator * Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I * Minimum three Salesforce certifications * Salesforce Certified Application credential preferred ### Core Competencies * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. * Ability to understand and navigate complex software ecosystems. * Effective technical communication skills. * Coaching and mentoring capability. * Collaborative approach to teamwork and stakeholder engagement. * Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to technical audiences. * Proactive ownership of technical challenges and solution delivery. ## Not a perfect fit?
