Production Floor Trainer-TR

About the Role:

The Production Floor Trainer is responsible for supporting the onboarding, training, and development of production team members on the shop floor. This role helps ensure employees understand standard work, safety expectations, quality requirements, and proper production processes. The trainer will work closely with production leadership, coordinators, and team members to build job knowledge, improve consistency, and support a positive learning environment. When not actively training employees, the Production Floor Trainer will be expected to work on the production floor and support daily production needs as assigned.

Your Responsibilities:

· Train new and existing production employees on assigned processes, work instructions, safety procedures, quality standards, and daily expectations.

· Provide hands-on coaching and guidance to help employees build skill, confidence, and consistency in their work.

· Support the completion and maintenance of training records, skills matrices, and competency documentation.

· Reinforce safe work practices, proper use of tools and equipment, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

· Partner with coordinators, supervisors, quality, safety, and engineering teams to identify training needs and close skill gaps.

· Observe production work and provide constructive feedback to employees in a professional and respectful manner.

· Help standardize training methods across assigned areas to improve onboarding effectiveness and reduce variation.

· Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying training barriers, process concerns, and opportunities to improve employee performance.

· Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive shop floor culture.
