CDL-Roll-Off Driver – Afternoon Shift – Premium Pay | Waste Pro | Pembroke Pines, FL

Schedule: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM

• →Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL)
• →Clean driving record
• →Must be at least 21 years of age
• →Knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety standards
• →Ability to safely operate heavy equipment
• →Strong customer service and communication skills
• →Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• →Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
• →Ability to meet hearing and vision requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Ability to independently push or pull up to 50 pounds multiple times throughout the workday
• Ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds from ground level to waist height on a frequent basis
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance, when necessary
• Ability to safely enter and exit the cab of a commercial vehicle repeatedly throughout the workday
• Ability to frequently bend, kneel, squat, twist, climb, and perform repetitive physical movements
• Ability to safely reach overhead and secure container tarps using a tarp pole while applying moderate pulling force
• Ability to climb heights of up to 8 feet to deploy and secure tarping equipment
• Ability to work shifts of 8–12 hours, including overtime when required
• Ability to perform essential job duties in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety

Work Environment   This position is primarily performed outdoors and requires working in a variety of environmental conditions.    Employees should be comfortable working in:

• Hot, cold, rainy, windy, humid, and other changing weather conditions
• Environments with exposure to noise, dust, odors, fumes, vibrations, and moving mechanical equipment
• Active commercial, industrial, and construction sites
• Areas with heavy truck traffic and operating equipment while following all established safety procedures
• A safety-sensitive work environment where adherence to company policies and DOT regulations is required
