We're looking for a Production Planning / Finance Intern to join our team. The Production Planning / Finance Intern will support and provide vacation coverage to the Planning/Finance staff, maintain office supply inventory, and complete various tasks in Planning and month end closing
This role will be based out of our North East, Pennsylvania manufacturing facility, just outside of Erie. Immerse yourself in a dynamic workplace where innovation thrives and collaboration is key.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Monitor and maintain office supply inventory, ensuring necessary stock levels are met and orders are placed promptly to support seamless daily operations
- →Support production / finance positions with the daily production performance reporting, inventory control, and month end close, as well as providing vacation coverage. Items such as but not limited to:
- →Balancing tanks, ingredients, and packed product inventory with physical counts
- →Produce processing and packaging production reporting
- →Distribute labor to production batches
- →Month end closing Journal Entries
- →Invoicing as needed
- →Support and participate in employee engagement activities and safety audit / EHS program
- The successful candidate must possess the ability to work with minimal direct supervision. This position will be responsible for completing time sensitive work in a fast- paced environment. Candidate must be able to interact well with others at all levels of the company, specifically plant supervisory and office / technical employees. Flexibility and a positive attitude are important.
- Junior or Senior level in a 4-year Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, or Manufacturing Management program with ability to work safely in an industrial setting
- Must possess advanced skills in word processing and spreadsheets specifically with Microsoft Office products.
