• Provide maintenance service for all plant production and processing equipment to meet established production requirements. Responsible for maintenance of seasonal equipment.

• →Responsible for maintenance of production and processing equipment, refrigeration, boiler room, waste plant, building maintenance, and seasonal preparation. Ensures high quality and safety standards are met.
• →Demonstrates expertise with the maintenance requirement of plant processing, production and seasonal operations through a thorough and continuing evaluation of production, processing and seasonal requirements, techniques, procedures, facilities and equipment.
• →Maintains constant contact with production and processing operators and supervision to obtain maximum machine uptime.
• →Train other mechanics in the proper set-up, adjustment, and maintenance of production, processing and seasonal support equipment and supervise them to accomplish maintenance requirements.
• →Executes preventive maintenance programs and suggests modifications to the Plant Engineer for approval.
• →Recommends and initiates changes to improve equipment operating performance and performs job estimates.
• →Assures that maintenance operations are carried out within established housekeeping and sanitation procedures, and applicable government regulations.
• →Participates in all regular meetings as scheduled.
• →Other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrated ability to safely work on and around complex, highly automated machinery in a non-temperature regulated environment. 
• Strong troubleshooting, verbal and written communication skills to effectively present to other maintenance supervisors technicians, and operators.
• Cross-functional demonstrated skills in Electrical, PLC, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Motors, motion control, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma a plus.
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Able to work all shifts in a 24x 7 operation

• A minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in machine maintenance and repair is required, specifically within a food or beverage manufacturing environment. Solid record of safety and continuous improvement in an industrial setting.
