You’ll join the Property Finance Portfolio Management team as a Senior Credit Analyst in a full-time role where you will showcase your superior credit analysis skills and strong property insights. The role can be based in Brisbane/Meanjin or Sydney/Gadigal Country.
You’ll work closely with Relationship Managers and meet with property investors and developers and provide high quality written credit submissions and input into loan structuring. You will complete reports compiling the analysis and rationale for supporting debt requirements ranging from $10m to $200m for property finance customers.
Using your strong stakeholder management skills, you will collaborate with Analysts, Product experts, Relationship Managers & Credit Managers to initiate and structure a range of property finance transactions. You will investigate risk profiling, financial analysis (including development feasibilities and property cash-flow modelling) and related credit submission activities to support upcoming deals.
This role balances pace with quality, judgement with curiosity and customer needs with strong risk discipline. It’s an opportunity to deepen your credit capability, build strong partnerships across the bank and contribute to outcomes that really matter. In addition, you will mentor other members of the team and assist with on-the-job training and workflow management of Credit Analyst tasks.
What do I need?
- Previous experience in the commercial and corporate banking field, Accounting, Insolvency, Valuation, or Property backgrounds with existing experience in writing credit submissions
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or Property
- Property cashflow modelling and/or development feasibility analysis skills
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive attitude and a genuine commitment to teamwork—someone who contributes to a supportive, respectful, and high-performing environment
