What’s the role?

As a Technology Program Manager, you will plan, design, and drive the delivery of technology solutions supporting the Model Risk Transformation program within Credit Risk Technology. You will work closely with a core technology team, ensuring alignment to organisational standards while developing resource plans, schedules, and cost estimates to achieve business outcomes across multiple streams. 

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Sydney / Warrane, Gadigal Country. You will connect people, simplify complexity, and create the right conditions for teams to deliver their best work, while shaping delivery approaches and driving continuous improvement to achieve measurable value for customers and the organisation.

You will proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies with stakeholders and risk teams, resolving challenges through strong negotiation and prioritisation. The role requires oversight of timelines, financials, and resources, ensuring delivery meets quality, cost, and governance standards, supported by clear reporting to sponsors and steering committees

What do I need?

• Experience leading large technology programs or multiple concurrent projects within. banking or financial services, with the ability to bring structure to complex environments and keep teams aligned on priorities. 
• Experience managing vendors and external delivery partners within large‑scale programs. 
• Exposure to developing and delivering new technology capabilities, with a solid understanding of cloud platforms. 
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across senior, technical, and non‑technical audiences. 
• Confident in managing delivery risks, issues, timelines, and dependencies in regulated environments. 
• Experience in model risk or similar regulatory or risk domains. 
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering meaningful business outcomes.
