About the Role

The Wing Flight Operations (Aviation Training & Operational Readiness) Team is looking for a highly organized and people-focused Senior Training Specialist to support the onboarding and delivery of effective training for all crewmembers across our global operations. This role is Hybrid based in Dallas, TX. This role plays a key part in managing the onboarding process for new employees, coordinating training activities, collaborating with instructors and instructional designers, and maintaining accurate training records. A successful candidate is detail-oriented, confident working with Learning Management Systems and a Records Database, and ready to support continuous improvements to our training processes and materials. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the administrative and logistical aspects of weekly training cohorts, ensuring a smooth and effective experience for new hires and existing employees 
  • Support all aspects of training events, including communications, facilities, equipment, and materials
  • Maintain accurate training transcripts and training event records, track employee progress, manage training calendars, and handle related paperwork and documentation
  • Act as a point of contact for new hires, employees, and instructors 
  • Manage the lifecycle of training materials by triaging, tracking, and facilitating crew training and qualification requests
  • Triage and track development requests for new training content while overseeing LMS enrollments and the generation of accurate training records
  • Directly manage and serve as the key point of contact for the initial onboarding and training phases for new hires (approximately 30-day time period, provisionary period) 
  • Serve as the liaison to HR for onboarding, scheduling, and off-boarding  
  • Act as a super user of the records database and an expert creator of training forms 
  • Assist in administering surveys and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, monitor attendance, and prepare summary reports for management.
  • 3-6 years of relevant training administration experience in the aviation training industry or other highly regulated industry, with demonstrated project ownership and leadership responsibilities 
  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field or equivalent practical experience
  • A knack for staying organized and knowing exactly what needs your attention first when things get busy
  • Experience with LMS administration and training records management tools
  • Experience with the Google Suite
  • Ability to travel 2-3 times domestically per year to support Wing training and evaluation events (3-5 days at a time).
  • Ability and willingness to work a 5-day rotating shift schedule, which may include occasional nights, weekends, and holidays

The US base salary range for this full-time position is the salary range below + bonus + equity + benefits. Wing’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.

$123,000$131,000 USD
