Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop rapport with children and youth to optimize their functioning.
- →Provide goal-directed interventions to stabilize children and youth in transition.
- →Complete progress notes within 24 hours after each session.
- →Maintain certification in the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths Assessment (CANS) or the Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA), updated annually.
Requirements
~1 min read- A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human growth and development, physician assistant, gerontology, special education, educational psychology, early childhood education, or early childhood intervention.
- At least one year of experience in a related field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and youth.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours, such as 3-9 PM, and weekends as needed.
Requirements
~1 min read- Certification in CANS or ANSA.
- Experience working with special needs children and adults.
