We are supporting a European-headquartered engineering and manufacturing company as it expands its U.S. presence. The business is currently operating as a sales-focused entity and is now preparing to build out local assembly and operational capabilities.
This role will play a critical part in scaling the U.S. organization from ~20 to 50 employees while helping establish the foundation for future operations.
The Role
This is not a traditional HR position.
We are looking for a hands-on leader who can bridge operations, hiring, and local market execution in a growing U.S. entity. You will work closely with leadership in Europe while supporting the local management team.

- Lead hiring and organizational build-out (20 → 50 employees)
- Partner with European-based HR and technical leadership
- Support transition from sales office to light assembly/operations environment
- Help define roles across procurement, production, and service functions
- Establish scalable hiring processes and local infrastructure
- Act as a bridge between U.S. operations and European HQ
- Provide day-to-day leadership support across operations and team development
- Experience scaling teams in the U.S. (growth-stage or expansion environment)
- Background in operations, general management, or sales leadership
- Proven ability to build teams and hire across technical and operational roles
- Comfortable working in small, evolving environments
- Experience working with European owned companies strongly preferred
