Job Title  Carl Hansen Information Booth Attendant
Department:

Office of Student Engagement 

Student Employment Type: Federal Work Study
Responsibilities:
  • Working knowledge of all technology and AV equipment within the student center 
  • Working knowledge of and enforcement of policies and procedures of the student center in addition to university policies 
  • Support professional staff in Carl Hansen Student Center 
  • Attend training sessions, monthly meetings, and professional development seminars 
  • Greet, direct, and answer questions for visitors, students, and faculty/staff 
  • Attend scheduled shifts 
  • Arrive to shifts on time; properly clock in and out 
  • Complete daily logs  
  • Conduct hourly rounds of the student center
  • Distribute survey and other programming information 
  • Deliver lost and found items to Public Safety on schedule
  • Review bulletin boards and all flyers for approval stamp
Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills 
  • Excellent customer service skills 
  • Be dependable and punctual 
  • Ability to use Web browsers on Microsoft Windows computers 
  • Possess positive attitude towards the Student Center and the University 
  • Willing to promote department and University Goals 
  • Recipient of Federal Work Study 
Hours of Position: Available 2-4, 2-hour shifts between the hours of operation of 9am-11pm, Monday - Friday and 10am-6pm Saturdays
