To strengthen our finance team, we are looking for a General Ledger Accountant to support accounting activities for Bulgaria.

Responsibilities

→Daily accounting activities
→Month-end closing in accordance with US GAAP and Bulgarian GAAP
→Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
→Account reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet and P&L accounts
→Support in consolidation processes according to US GAAP
→Coordination with internal teams, HQ and external stakeholders (auditors, tax advisors)
→Participation in the development and improvement of accounting processes
→Documentation of accounting processes and internal procedures

Requirements

5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in General Ledger
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Bulgarian GAAP
Basic tax knowledge (Bulgaria)
Experience with month-end closing processes
Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills
Hands-on and proactive approach
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

English – professional working proficiency

Team player with a high level of personal responsibility
Structured and detail-oriented
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
