Zeus Fire and Security is seeking a technically strong and process-oriented Marketing Automation Specialist to help scale and optimize our marketing operations infrastructure across a growing multi-brand organization.
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for executing and improving marketing automation workflows, supporting HubSpot and Salesforce integration, managing lead lifecycle processes, and helping drive measurable marketing performance through data, segmentation, and automation best practices.
The ideal candidate is equal parts technical operator, analytical thinker, and collaborative team player, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values process and organization, and enjoys building scalable systems that support growth. This is a hands-on role that will work closely with digital marketing, content, and sales teams to help build a best-in-class marketing engine.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Build, manage, and optimize automated marketing workflows including nurture campaigns, onboarding journeys, cross-sell campaigns, re-engagement programs, and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
- Develop smart campaigns using triggers, personalization, dynamic content, lead scoring, and segmentation logic.
- Create and maintain active lists, suppression lists, audience segmentation, and lifecycle workflows across multiple brands and business units.
- Support MQL → SQL → Opportunity lead lifecycle automation and routing processes.
- Build and maintain email templates, landing pages, forms, and campaign assets within the marketing automation platform.
- Support HubSpot and Salesforce integration including field mapping, sync validation, lead routing, and workflow troubleshooting.
- Ensure segmentation integrity, database accuracy, and marketing data hygiene standards.
- Maintain governance around list management, naming conventions, suppression lists, and deliverability best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot workflow issues, automation conflicts, and data inconsistencies.
- Conduct pre-launch QA for workflows, emails, landing pages, and automation logic.
- Perform A/B and multivariate testing to optimize campaign performance.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, MQLs, SQLs, and ROI.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting to provide actionable insights and optimization recommendations.
- Support attribution and performance analysis across marketing channels.
- Document workflows, campaign processes, automation standards, and operational playbooks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, design, and content teams to align automation strategy with business goals.
- Stay current on marketing automation best practices, emerging technologies, and platform enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and campaign performance.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing marketing automation platforms and campaign workflows.
- Experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub preferred; experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Marketo, or similar platforms also considered.
- Strong understanding of CRM integration and lead lifecycle management.
- Experience building workflows, automations, smart lists, landing pages, and email campaigns.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and campaign QA best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Self-starter mindset with a strong focus on process improvement, documentation, and accountability.
- HubSpot Marketing Software Certification or similar platform certification.
- Experience supporting Salesforce integrations and marketing-to-sales alignment initiatives.
- B2B marketing experience preferred.
- Experience in multi-brand or multi-location organizations.
- Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools such as GA4, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Exposure to advanced lifecycle marketing, lead scoring models, attribution reporting, and multi-channel automation strategies.
- Basic familiarity with SQL and/or JavaScript for API-based integrations is a plus.
- A systems-thinking mindset with strong technical and operational curiosity.

- Comfort balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
