Quality Engineer I

The Quality Engineer I supports production quality activities under supervision, learning AS9100 requirements, inspection processes, and nonconformance management. This role provides foundational exposure to supplier quality through documentation review and incoming quality support.

This role involves working closely with engineers, production technicians, and operations teams to support multiple programs and value streams.

• →Support production quality issue resolution with inspectors and manufacturing teams
• →Assist with nonconformance (NCR) documentation and tracking
• →Support root cause analysis and corrective actions under guidance
• →Assist with first article inspection (FAI) preparation and documentation
• →Review quality records for completeness and compliance
• →Supplier Quality Support
• →Review supplier documentation (CofCs, FAI packages) for completeness
• →Support incoming inspection issue tracking
• →Learn supplier nonconformance and escalation processes
• →Maintain quality documentation per QMS requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 0–2 years experience in manufacturing or quality
• Basic understanding of print reading and GD&T
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO quality systems preferred
