The Role

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Associate Content Designer to join our small and growing team, creating the next generation of innovative lifestyle games. This is a great entry-level role for anyone with a passion for interior design who wants to apply their skill set in the gaming industry.

As a Content Designer, you will work closely with the Lead 3D Artist to define and enhance the interior design aspects of the game. You will create mood boards and curate items for in-game design events. You will have the unique opportunity to make a significant impact on a small and growing company that aims to change the gaming landscape for women.

This role is available as a contractor, remotely based in Europe

Responsibilities

• Design and curate interior design content by creating mood boards and sourcing furniture items and materials for themed events based on current interior design trends.
• Collaborate with the art team to turn our players’ dream aesthetic events into reality.
• Manage content config data spreadsheet for Live operation of content.
• QA events to make sure event designs are meeting the intended design and quality.
• Transfer interior design knowledge to the game team, including styles, trends, materials, and how to build mood boards.
• Balance content creation between creativity, game economy, and game design motivation. Be passionate about providing beautiful, rewarding, and fun events to players.

What You Bring

• Study or working experience relevant to interior design
• Great visual eyes for colours and materials, excellent taste in interior and furniture design
• Knowledge in interior design styles, mainstream trends and textures
• Any experience in 3D software such as Blender is a plus
• Strong interests in lifestyle content and innovative ways to play with them
• Articulate with strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Highly motivated and organized, thrive in small, autonomous, and productive teams

Must Haves

• Experience in creating mood boards for interior design projects
• Knowledge in using GSuite applications such as Sheet, Meet, Slides, Drive…etc
• Willingness to learn the basics of other tools such as Jira, Figma and internal content tools
• Familiarity with mobile games, plus if you like genres like casual or lifestyle
