Texas Instruments is seeking a high-caliber Manufacturing Section Manager to drive flawless, fab-wide operational execution during C and D shifts. As the second-highest manufacturing leadership position in the facility, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and hold full accountability for Fab performance during the back end of the week (Wed-Sat).

This role requires a strategic leader capable of managing the intricate technical dependencies of a high-volume, 300mm cleanroom environment. You will be responsible for maximizing throughput by expertly synchronizing critical planned maintenance, managing complex WIP (Work in Progress) patterns, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team of supervisors and technicians, ensuring uncompromising operational excellence and production stability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, Operations Research, or a related Systems/Manufacturing field.
  • 4 years of experience within a high volume manufacturing semiconductor fab.
  • 3 years of experience managing, leading, supervising a team. 
  • Strong foundation in throughput optimization, flow management, and complex systems coordination.

 

  • Master’s degree in a quantitative field focused on Optimization, Operations, or Systems Management.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
